Time marches on

We are back from Canada.

The drive home from the airport was so incredibly stressful, my son couldn’t stop screaming.

Next time we won’t use the highway and we will stop as many times as he needs.

My wife and I were super stressed afterwards, but I didn’t really realize how stressed she was. Was an emotionally tough few days when we got back.

My wife is in the hospital from this morning for 5-7 days. She’ll have an operation tomorrow.

My son didn’t want to have a nap with me today until after 5pm which was tough. He’s now asleep though for the night.

My wife usually breastfeeds him in the middle of the night, so I do expect an hour or two of trying to get him back to sleep without that.

Our house and land contracts are signed. I’ll meet someone this weekend about selling our current house.

Things are tough right now, but I feel they will get better.

I’m going to join my son now in the bedroom despite it being very early. I need to get ready for that 1am wake up.
